BEGINNERS VEGETABLE GROWING – Wednesday 14th March at 6.30pm or Saturday 24th March at 1.30pm. Cost; £45
A guide to the basics of vegetable growing and propagation. You will take away a patio planter with a variety of vegetable crops.
EVERLASTING HANGING BASKETS – Wednesday 21st March or Tuesday 9th October at 7pm. Cost; £25
Avoid the fuss of changing hanging basket plants several times a year. You will take away a hanging basket planted for year round interest.
THE SENSORY GARDEN ***NEW FOR 2018*** – Tuesday 27th March at 7pm. Cost; £20
Learn how to create a garden for everyone to enjoy and get involved with, we will pay particular attention to creating a garden adapted for physical disabilities, learning disabilities, memory problems and mental health issues.
CONTAINER GARDENING – Wednesday 28th March at 6.30pm. Cost; £25
Learn the art of container gardening. Bring your own container, all plants and refreshments included.
THE CUTTING GARDEN – Wednesday 18th April at 7pm. Cost; £20
Learn how to fill your home with flowers from the garden, the best varieties to grow, how to condition and arrange them. You will take away a selection of seedlings to get your patch started and a jam jar posy.
GARDENING SKILLS FOR SPRING – Tuesday 24th April at 6.30pm. Cost; £25
Gain more skills and confidence in the garden. We will cover propagation, planting and looking after your soil.(Book this course and Gardening Skills for Autumn at the same time for £45 – save £5)
AN EVENING OF WILDLIFE AND WILDFLOWERS – Wednesday 2nd May at 7pm. Cost; £20
An informal lecture with advice on choosing wildflowers, encouraging beneficial wildlife, companion planting and wildflower meadows. Followed by a cheese and wine supper, includes a goody bag worth £10.
SUMMER HANGING BASKETS – Tuesday 22nd May at 6.30pm or Saturday 26th May at 1.30pm Cost; £45
You will create and take away a beautiful mossed wire hanging basket and a wicker basket, as well as learning the tricks of the trade to get the best from them.
GARDEN DESIGN COURSE – Wednesday 6th June at 7pm for 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings, or Saturday 15th September at 1.30pm for 3 consecutive Saturdays and Sunday 23rd September. Cost; £60
A 4 session course where you will learn the 10 steps of professional garden design, visit a local garden to see the theory in practice and work on your own garden design.
GROWING AND USING HERBS AND LAVENDERS – Tuesday 12th June at 7pm. Cost; £20
An informal lecture covering the cultivation of herbs and lavenders, choosing good varieties, harvesting and preserving your crops. Followed by a cheese and wine supper, includes a goody bag worth £10.
THE LOW MAINTENANCE BORDER – Wednesday 4th July at 7pm or Saturday 6th October at 1.30pm. Cost; £15 (Only £10 if you add it onto the Garden Design Course)
Learn the tricks to a border filled with year round colour, banish weeds and pests and choose plants which thrive.
GARDENING FOR BEGINNERS – Wednesday 5th September at 7pm for 6 consecutive Wednesday evenings. Cost £90
A 6 week course including guidance on garden design, choosing the right plants, looking after your soil, pruning, planting, propagation and solutions for problem areas.
BULBS IN THE GARDEN – Tuesday 25th September at 6.30pm. Cost; £20
An informal lecture on choosing the right bulbs for gardens and containers, looking after bulb displays, forcing bulbs for indoor flowers. You will take away a mixed bulb planter.
KOKADAMA WORKSHOP – Tuesday 11th September at 6.30pm. Cost; £25
These hanging moss balls make an unusual addition to your garden. You will create 2 styles of Kokadama and learn more about elements of Japanese gardening such as bonsai and niwaki.
GARDENING SKILLS FOR AUTUMN – Tuesday 16th October at 6.30pm. Cost; £25

You will create a container planting and a wicker hanging basket to grace your garden through the darkest months.
CHRISTMAS WREATHS & GIFTS FROM THE GARDEN – Wednesday 5th December at 6.30pm, Saturday 8th December at 1.30pm, or Tuesday 11th December at 6.30pm. Cost; £40
Create a natural Danish style wreath and a selection of small gifts to give to your friends. Includes mulled wine and mince pies.
