Phormium tenax Purpureum

A cultivar of New Zealand flax whose robust, spear-like leaves are a dusky brownish-purple colour, glaucous on the reverse, and margined with a distinct but fine line of orange brown.  Can grow up to 2m. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
